This is research part 3!! For this part, my teammate Danielle was responsible for completing it. The production company for the film we chose is Netflix and Komixx Entertainment. Netflix is an American global streaming network. They create of variety of films in every genre. And not just films in general but specials, original series, miniseries, documentaries, and films. Netflix is rated as one of the best independent film production companies. Komixx Entertainment is an independent indie film and TV production company. They were founded in 2007 and are known mostly for producing the Kissing Booth. Netflix creates all types of movies: comedy, thrillers, dramas, children entertainment. Some of the ways Netflix is able to engage the audience to watch their content is by social media promos and commercials on certain films coming out. Komixx tends to try to engage a younger audience, kids and young adults. Introducing what they like and something that's captures their attention. Netflix promotes their films by marketing, social media, and web designs. Komixx does the same by media planning and digital designs. Netflix distributes their films to their audience by digital distribution model on their app. Komixx uses different streaming websites. The film case we'll be researching is a teen girl dealing in high school and dealing with her crush. The name of the film is Kissing Booth, its reviews rely in a 3.9-star rating. It's engaging to its audience because it falls under romance/comedy for a younger audience, dealing with high schoolers.
