It's Preliminary exercise 11, isn't that crazy!? I look forward to uploading you guys on everything we doooo. The objective of this assignment was to create a storyboard for camera movement so we could take shots. I wasn't in class when we started the illustration for the storyboard, so my partner (Richard S) had to do it alone. The reason storyboarding is used is so the filming process can go by easier, already having a set of ideas planned out in order so when it's time to shoot it's a breeze. It also helps organize ideas and not make things to stressful. My partner used his notes and technology to complete the assignment. The responsibilities of my team are to make a storyboard for this assignment and pick 6 out of 9 of those videos to upload. It's important to create a storyboard so you can already have a lineup of what you want to do, it's also useful for brainstorming.
*REFLECTION*
In this exercise I learned the importance of storyboarding and the techniques behind camera movement. The next step is to film these shots (exciting!!!) and the storyboard will be used as a rough draft.
