Critical Reflection

 My critical reflection is the analysis of me and my team's movie. We each were responsible to make one individually to get graded on it. We had to create a PowerPoint that was 40+ slides and also had a voiceover. We went deep into our movie and explained it in full depth so that whoever is grading is able to understand our movie in a different perspective.

Final Film : Love and Vengeance

 For our final film, we ended up changing our film name. It went from Heartbreak High to Love and Vengeance. We used our teacher's feedback and fixed the areas that lacked certain things. Changed the music, the name, showed the movie in full depth and made it into something better.

First Draft Feedback

 After our visitation with our teacher, we got all the feedback about our film after me, and my team watched it with her. She mentioned how the name of our film had to be changed, and how we had to better introduce characters the protagonist was engaging with. We also needed to add voiceovers for better connections and also show scenes with the protagonist and her boyfriend. Improve acting and show the protagonist expressing better emotion, and add in when a new day transitions in. We also had to enhance our exposition. Change the name of our film and add credits to the end, insert pauses in the movie every now and then. And to improve our volume, refill certain shots and edit them better.

 Our first draft is how our movie was before any feedback. We finished planning and doing our storyboards, and right after that we got into production. A lot of time went into editing and getting our film made so we were able to deal with other things afterwards.

Post-production: Sound Editing Decisions

 For editing in sound, me and my teammates used the characters conversations and background noise. Students chatting in class with their peers and sometimes even the teachers voice being heard. We also used music from different artist to contribute in our film. Me and my team each contributed to parts in our movie that involved sound and put it together for our movie.

Post-production: Visual Editing Decisions

 Editing in film is the art and craft of cutting and assembling finished film. It allows the movie to be formed fully and all areas are properly distributed. Editing is important in the filmmaking process because they're the creative combination of what the editors think is best for the film. It also entered shot continuity, dictates pacing, and allows the audience to receive information. Some visual editing me and my team used in our film is language, representation. The video editor of our group is Richard. Some challenges me and my team experienced in making our movie were the different shots and certain parts we had to put in the film.

 Welcome to day 2 of bloopers. There was a lot of laughter in some of these, or just our cast being silly and going off script. Sometimes during filming time out actors would forget or black out, that's when we'd have to cut it to remind them what to say/do and proceed with filming.

 Day 2 of behind the scenes ! In this part of filming behind the scenes it was enjoyable but still confusing in some areas. Some shots we couldn't get through the first time because of constant mess ups. And some times it was because of silly and multiple personalities.

 Welcome to day 1 of our bloopers. We made a lot of bloopers during filming time. A lot of shots we filmed didn't get to make the cut. It was either because it wasn't shot properly or because our actors broke character. We filmed over and over until we got it right.
