Preliminary Exercise 15: Planning, Filming, Recording and Editing Sound in a Shot

 Welcome to blog post 15! Today in class we learned about planning, filming, recording, and editing sound in videos ! We filmed a short 7-10 second video using a planning sheet by our teacher and some given scenarios as ideas. In me and my partner's video, (Richard) we used a student walking down the hall and collapsing on the floor from a stomach ache as an idea, and Richard starring as the student. The video was recorded in medium, with a rhythm sound effect based off of the sounds of pain the student was making. The pitch was very low cause as the student was squirming in agony, the sound got softer and softer until he fell. This video was filmed on campus at our school during our Media Studies 1st period class, we finished our planning sheet and went in the hallway by our class and started recording.
